Sue Nyamnjoh is a Cameroonian-born creative living in Cape Town with a background in
languages and media studies. Her debut anthology, [un]ravelling was published in 2023. In her
poetry, Sue Nyamnjoh tackles universal themes of love and pain from a deeply personal lens.
She dives headfirst into the shared uniqueness of the human condition and with each poem,
invites the reader to consider their own experience of feeling in full. When she steps away from
the page, Sue primarily enjoys large doses of music, food, and people, in no particular order.
Zwide Ndwandwe is a Cape Town-based musician who is heavily invested in cultural work and
liberatory politics, contributing writings to publications such as Africa Is A Country, Amandla, and
ILRIG. He co-founded the seven-piece Black improvised music band Kujenga, achieving
milestones like a SAMA nomination, a Mzansi Jazz Award for Best Newcomers (2024), and
headlining festivals including the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Joy of Jazz, and Jazz
In The Lights. Zwide was recognized as a Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South African in
2024.
Together, Sue & Zwide bring you a new artistic offering of carefully crafted words rocked by the
sonic rhythm of the bass.
