MXO

MXO is a maverick in the South African music scene, known for his post-modern eclectic sound blending afro soul, jazz, funk, traditional, and pop. Since his debut in 2004 with *Peace of Mind*, he has become an icon, performing globally and collaborating with music legends. Beyond music, MXO is a film producer, event curator, producer, songwriter, and publisher. He is the founder of two prominent festivals: **Indigenous Festival Different Folks** and **East London Jazz by the Lake**. He also leads The Maverick Beverage Company, offering his own wine and spirit label, and manages Maverick’s Campsite in Coffee Bay, providing hospitality, adventure, and healing retreats.
