DaniMali – Dialogues Across Provinces is more than a concert tour, it is a sonic journey across the country that explores jazz as a living archive of African memory, identity, and cultural unity. Led by saxophonist and composer Nhlanhla Mahlangu, it weaves music and sonic storytelling into a bold expression of Jazz as dialogue – a conversation across provinces, generations, and artistic disciplines. Each performance is a space for reflection, exchange, and reconnection.

The tour invites audiences to experience jazz not only as entertainment, but as a tool for healing, remembering, and imagining new futures. DaniMali’s multidisciplinary approach challenges traditional performance formats, offering a deeply immersive experience rooted in contemporary African Jazz expression.

Presented in collaboration with Concerts SA, the Hugh Masekela Heritage Foundation, the University of South Africa, DaniMali NPC, and style partner Urban Zulu, Dialogues Across Provinces is a celebration of Ubuntu through sound – reminding us that jazz is not just music, but memory in motion.
