DESCRIPTION:Holy Alpha is a South African hip hop artist from Khayelitsha\, \n\n\n\nCape Town. She is recognised for her authentic storytelling\, \n\n\n\nraw lyricism\, and powerful isiXhosa expression. Rooted in \n\n\n\nlocal street and township culture. \n\n\n\nShe began her music journey in 2016 and gained national \n\n\n\nattention in 2020 with her breakout single “Ghost\, \n\n\n\n”which \n\n\n\nmade waves across the underground scene and earned her \n\n\n\nrecognition from key industry figures. She continued to build \n\n\n\nmomentum with releases such as “Subuza\, \n\n\n\n” further \n\n\n\nestablishing her lyrical skill and artistic identity. \n\n\n\nIn August 2024\, Holy Alpha released her \n\n\n\ndebut album Mama Ghost\, a defining body of \n\n\n\nwork that solidified her position as one of \n\n\n\nCape Town’s most compelling hip hop voices. \n\n\n\nIn 2025\, she featured on “Bathini” by \n\n\n\nlegendary hip hop group Driemanskap\, \n\n\n\nreleased on 25 November 2025\, marking \n\n\n\nanother significant milestone in her career. \n\n\n\nWith a growing catalogue\, notable \n\n\n\ncollaborations\, and strong cultural relevance\, \n\n\n\nHoly Alpha continues to represent a bold\, \n\n\n\nauthentic voice in contemporary South \n\n\n\nAfrican hip hop.
