DESCRIPTION:Lineup: \n\n\n\nMark Fransman – keys\, saxophone \n\n\n\nStephen De Souza – bass \n\n\n\nKevin Gibson – drums \n\n\n\nThe Mark Fransman The ‘Homage’ Project \n\n\n\nThe Mark Fransman ‘Homage’ Project celebrates some of South Africa’s most iconic jazz musicians and seeks to spotlight them as national treasures. \n\n\n\nThe project pays homage to such greats as Zim Ngqawana\, Winston Mankunku\, Hotep Galeta\, Sibongile Khumalo\, Errol Dyers\, Robbie Jansen\, Bheki Mseleku to mention but a few. Each ‘tribute’ comes in the form of an original composition (or suite)\, composed by Fransman. \n\n\n\nThe project features some of South Africa’s most talented musicians in Stephen De Souza on bass and Kevin Gibson on drums. Fransman features on piano and saxophones. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDoors open at 5pm show starts at 7pm
