DESCRIPTION:Qamata Live Experience\, a performance of original compositions and arrangements – featuring an octet of voice\, piano\, bass\, drum-kit\, trumpet\, tenor-alto saxophone and trombone\, produced by Mpho Ngexe. Performances by Mpho Ngexe (voice)\, Vuyo Nkasawe (piano)\, Katy Racionzer (trumpet)\, Sisipho Mangete (trombone)\, Mwangi Njoroge (alto-saxophone) Carli Morkel (tenor-saxophone)\, Kanu Ntshoko (drum-kit) Girswin Pypers (bass guitar) and guest appearances\, Nkanyezi Ngwenya (voice) and Garth Steenberg (clarinet).  \n\n\n\nMpho Ngexe is a 24-year-old voice performer from Cape Town\, South Africa. Their performances are centred in jazz & Nguni musical traditions. Exploring Nguni Ndau cosmology through language and music\, Mpho Ngexe formulates a peace experience through their performance work.  \n\n\n\nDoors Open at 5pm show starts at 6pm
