Mthimkhulu Stuurman is a South African based Trombonist with over 4 years’ experience in African Spiritual Jazz. He was influenced by Dr Johnny Mekoa who introduced him to Jazz Music and was later inspired by Malcolm Jiyane. Mthimkhulu’s love for African Spiritual Jazz is from his belief in Ancestors. He has worked with majority of South African and International Musicians, including:
